Building Austin's Technology Community One Company at a Time

Since 1994, the Austin Technology Council has been the principal point of connection for companies from the technology industry that represent a critical mass of businesses in Central Texas. It is our mission to ensure that Austin maintains its world-renowned technology status, and a community that capitalizes on its assets - university-based research, venture funding, a broad array of support services, an entrepreneurial culture and a rich pool of intellectual talent and leadership.

Title: Customer Service and Company Culture

Everyone considers customers as a company’s biggest asset, whether those customers are other businesses or consumers. But what about the bridge between you and your customers? It is just as important, if not more important! Your employees should be considered the biggest asset your company has because they deal directly with your customers. One bad interaction with a company and a customer can be lost forever.

So how do you turn your employees into rock star customer service representatives? By creating an environment your employees can flourish in—through company culture. A company’s culture reflects directly on management style, employee morale and customer service.

This luncheon will cover how to develop a company culture that is right for your company goals and business model, how to handle and facilitate the changes incorporating a new culture will bring, and how to train your employees on great customer service as a reflection of your company culture.
