Hire Local Summit

This event is for leaders in business, K-12 education, higher education, workforce development, philanthropy, and elected officials who are involved in strategic workforce development in Austin-Travis County.

Workforce Solutions Capital Area will lead a panel discussion with leaders and champions of Austin’s workforce development efforts about what the local labor market has looked like over the last year and what is expected in the year ahead. Panelists will provide input on the importance of connecting local people to in-demand jobs and building community wealth and a path to higher earnings so that more people can afford to stay in Austin.
