The CIO/CTO Forums are a series of confidential meetings open to C-level, or equivalent, technology leaders within the software, hardware, semi-conductor, and e-commerce sectors. This forum is also open to public organizations including Information Officers of state or municipal agencies. The CIO/CTO Forum also features a speaker identified and chosen by the CIO/CTO committee, responsible for providing data or informational overview of critical issues, and facilitates a discussion including best practices, technologies, and strategic and tactical issues facing this leadership role

Thank you for joining ATC on Thursday, January 17 at NxNw for what is always the most entertaining forum of the year! Mutual Mobile CTO, Mickey Ristroph led the discussion on building effective technical teams before we voted on the CIO/CTO Awards.

Mutual Mobile, Chief Technology Officer, Mickey Ristroph has been honored by the 2012 Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) as Information Technologist and CTO of the Year. Since co-founding Mutual Mobile in 2009, Ristroph and his team have developed groundbreaking mobile innovations, including a cloud-based driver alert system that shares real-time information between drivers; a connected classroom that reduces dropout rates; and a medical solution that allows healthcare professionals and patients to collaborate to improve breathing habits. Under his guidance, Mutual Mobile has become one of the largest employers of iOS experts in the world, and was named one of America’s Most Promising Companies by Forbes.

CIO/CTO Forum with Byron Lichtenberg
ATC’s last CIO/CTO dinner on August 21st was a huge success. Event speaker, Byron Lichtenberg, CTO and Founder of ZeroG, engineer and fighter pilot who flew aboard two NASA Space Shuttle missions, led the discussion on commercial space technologies, ending with a standing ovation!
